Few Words About the Killer Crossbows
Killer crossbows are pretty new to the market. However, they are already a fan favorite in the crossbow world. They work with HAWK. HAWK is a hunting gear manufacturer. The Killer Crossbows are pretty popular mostly because of their blistering speed, bullseye accuracy, and unbelievably cheap price tag. So they are a solid value for money product.
In addition, another great thing is their amazing customer service. They also provide decent additional accessories with the package you buy. Of course, they’re not as good as you can get but they are semi-decent.
Despite being new in the crossbow realm they have already won several awards and have been nominated for many. In 2015 they won the Field and Stream magazine’s ”Best of the Best” award. In 2016 they won the Outdoor Life Magazine’s “Great value”’ award. And two years later in 2018, they won the “Great buy” award from the same magazine.
Besides, in 2017 they first collaborated with HAWK, which was one of the tops and leading brands for crossbow optics manufacturing. By collaborating with HAWK hunting they took their optics and scopes to the next level. After that, they worked together in manufacturing many other crossbow and archery accessories.
Killer Instinct Ripper 425 Crossbow Review
Out of all the crossbows in the world, Killer Instinct Ripper 425 is one of my personal favorites. This is the heir of the Killer Instinct Ripper 415, which was widely loved by the archery community. And now its successor is killing it in the market.
If you make a Killer instinct crossbow reviews guide you have to include the Ripper 425.
Killer Instinct has totally redesigned the front and end cam system for the Ripper 425 making it a lot more durable than the ripper 415. The body of the crossbow is slick and smooth. They also updated the cam system for improved durability.
For the stock, they also improved it very significantly. Killer Instinct installed a brand new cc-styled sliding stock that uses a button to extend or shorten the stocks. You can use five stock positions for custom draw length.
Ripper 425 has CNC machined riser and aluminum flight rail. It is super great for downrange accuracy.
Moreover, in terms of length and weight, you’ll find the Ripper 425 quite comfortable. The crossbow has 32 to 34.5 inches in length. The axle-to-axle length is 17.75” when uncocked and 14.375” when cocked.
It only weighs about 7.5 pounds. Which is great if you tend to maneuver it often.
Overall, the Ripper 425 is one of the fastest crossbows in the world. It has a blistering arrow speed of 425 FPS. If that’s not enough for you to say WOW, then hear me out, it has a draw weight of 200 pounds and a power stroke of 15 inches! Isn’t that just mental?
The Ripped 425 comes with the HYPR carbon 20-inch arrows. These arrows are pretty heavy. They weigh about 390 grains each. However, the quiver is super high quality.
It is also a highly accurate crossbow. Just like his predecessor.
The Ripper 425 is easy to cock crossbow. It comes with a rope cocking device in the package itself. You can reduce about 50% of the draw weight using the rope cocker. And now the great part is, it can also be cocked with a crank device.
The crossbow comes with the “Dead Silent kit” from Killer Instinct. It is supposed to reduce string noise and also vibration.
Lastly, the LUMIX 1.5×5-32 is the scope that comes with the crossbow. It is better than the traditional 4x32mm multi reticle scope. It is not the best crossbow optic but it works just fine.
About assembly, it is very easy to assemble the crossbow and even the optic.

Killer Instinct Burner 415 Crossbow Review
Now let’s talk about the Killer Instinct Burner 415 crossbow. Likewise, the Ripper 425, Burner 415 is a very popular and famous crossbow. It is a very similar crossbow to the Ripper 415. It is very affordable and a lethal crossbow.
The Burner has fully adjustable stocks. It is useful for hunters of any size and age. Its AR-styled adjustable stock is purely magic. You can adjust the stock in 6 different positions in 1/5 inch increments. Because the crossbow has multiple holding points. It allows for a more comfortable grip.
Besides, the crossbow has an upgraded grip than the Ripper 415. The pistol grip is comfortable and made of rubber and it comes with a finger groove. There’s a special chamber beneath the handle which is also fully rubberized and you can put things as your liking.
The Burner is lightweight and has a narrow framework. It is about 37 inches in length and has an Axle-to-Axle width of 18.75 inches, which you can cock down to about 14.75 inches.
The barrel is Micro-Lite and it is made out of aluminum giving it a very lightweight of only 6.7 pounds.
Most importantly, the arrow speed of this crossbow is absolutely fantastic. It has an arrow speed of 415 fps, I know, so obvious. Anyways, this is more than enough for you to hunt down any prey you can possibly think of.
The arrows that come with the crossbow are High-Velocity HYPR Lite arrows. It is made with the purpose of high-speed arrow delivery which is super important for hunting. But if you are looking for target practicing then be sure to choose a target that is compatible with the blistering speed of the Burner.
The total shaft is 20 inches long with a diameter of 0.348 inches. The arrows have inserted moon nocks and 100-grain field tips. It is also fletched with 4-inch vanes.
The LUMIX IR-W Scope is a cheap crossbow scope that comes inside $50. However, it still works well with the Burner. It has multiple brightness settings and also multi reticle for different yardages for up to 50 yards.
There is also “Dead Silent Kit” in this crossbow, too. It is designated to reduce string noise and vibration while shooting.
The crossbow doesn’t come with a crank cocking device. The 220 pounds of draw weight is quite something to pull. Thanks to Killer Instinct they provide a rope cocking device to help reduce the draw weight up to 50%.
The assembly of the Burner 415 is a piece of the pie. It is incredibly easy. You just need to screw in the bottom bolts and then the top bolts on either side of the rail. The scope is really easy to sight in, too. It only takes about 10 minutes to assemble and sight in the crossbow.

Killer Instinct Lethal 405 Crossbow Review

The Killer Instinct Lethal 405 is a fairly new crossbow in the market. It was released in 2020. Lethal 405 is a cheap and affordable crossbow with amazing features and accessories that come with the crossbow. It is a great value for money. So let’s get into the details.
The lethal 405 is a pretty lightweight crossbow. Killer Instinct manages to keep it lightweight because they used adjustable Micro-Lite aluminum stock. The crossbow weighs about 7.2 pounds.
The Killer Instinct Lethal 405 is a pretty compact crossbow, too. The crossbow has a total length of 34.5 inches. The axle-to-axle width is 18.75 inches when uncocked and 14.75 inches when cocked, which is pretty decent.

The Lethal 405 uses 20-inches HYPR lite carbon arrows.
The crossbow comes with a 4x32mm non-illuminated scope. It is a very basic scope. I mean, what more can you expect from a crossbow with this cheap of a price tag. But the scope is still alright and it is enough for any beginner crossbow hunter. The scope features multiple aiming points.
The Lethal 405 features an ergonomic grip and X-LOK foregrip. The foregrip allows you to hold it from multiple positions and has an option to rotate the foregrip for more positions.
This crossbow also comes with the “Dead Silence Kit”. It reduces the amount of sound and vibration the crossbow produces.
The crossbow features a rope cocker. If you can use it properly it will reduce up to 50% of draw weight. But cocking 210 pounds of draw weight can be a bit hectic.
Lastly, The crossbow does not come assembled and it is understandable. It is a cheap and budget crossbow. So you have to assemble it by yourself. The assembly isn’t all that hard. You just have to follow the manual that comes with the crossbow.

Their LUMIX SPEEDRING 1.5-5×32 IR-E Scope comes with Killer Instincts Killzone XB100 reticle. It supports accuracy and features flip-up covers and adjustable speed rings.
Moreover, the LUMIX 4×32 IR-E is a premium crossbow optic. It is a multi-coated optic and improved illuminated vision in low light settings. LUMIX 4×32 IR-E has a compact and sturdy design. It is also resistant to shock, fog, and water.
The DSC Dead Silent Crank is a compact cocking design. And it is also easy and quick to attack detach. It is highly effective quick cocking. It will also cock the string without making any sort of noise. However, the bad part is, it can be only used for some of the crossbows. So had to mention it in the Killer instinct crossbow reviews.
The Killer Crossbows usually come with one of the two scopes, a cocking device, a string, three bolts, a quiver, and a limb suppressor. You can also buy crossbow cases from the same company.
